I can hardly believe we'll soon have a child small enough to fit in these diapers!

Uh-oh!

Uh-oh is one of John's favorite things to say, and I often remind him that "Uh-oh" is for mistakes, since he often creates whatever "Uh-oh" that's before him. One morning last week, I was primping and John was playing in the bathroom as I finished up. I hear a light clanging and here's what I found. Two-hundred fifty matches on the ground. Uh-oh!

Clean up was quick since I decided to throw a bunch away, and while John willingly helped, he had little luck since he would drop the match into the box sleeve only for it to fall on the ground again. Uh-oh. (And for those worrying about my child's safety, those aren't easy matches to strike and I've put them away in the cabinet!)

Trick-or-Treat!

John went trick-or-treating at the Tri-Delt house on UK's campus late last week and had a great time. (Sadly, that's where our Halloween festivities began and ended!) Lucky for us, Dada was getting off work as we arrived on campus, so we got a couple of pictures with him. These aren't the best pictures, but they capture the moment. John's obsessed with hats these days, so he was more than happy to don his costume and cried when we took it off!

Not so sure about the decorations, or the other children playing with them!

Son, this had better be the only time you're ever upstairs in a sorority house!

After refusing to give a high five, John gives her a hug. It was very sweet.
